Duckweed

Duckweed is a low tech easy growing floating plant. All you need is a body of dechlorinated water and light and this plant will thrive.

This is a rapid growing plant and spread extremely quickly. This plant is also used as a source of food for Koi and Goldfish.

Having floating plants in our opinion is a must they absorb excess nutrients good or bad from the water column keeping your water fish friendly.

We recommend purchasing our feeding rings with duckweed as it will quickly cover the surface of your aquarium making it challenging to feed your live stock.

Duckweed are also well loved by shrimp as they love to hang on their roots close to the surface.
